Job Description:
Are you ready to play a strategic role in developing design methodologies and software solutions within our Chip Package Board Co-Design team? You will be at the forefront of enhancing design flows and contributing significantly to software development projects. Join us and make an impact!
In your new role, you will:
1. Drive the creation and rollout of design methodologies and flows to optimize chip, package, and board design tools and processes.
2. Collaborate with R&D, EDA vendors, and IT to streamline tool integration and address software and methodology challenges.
3. Stay updated on EDA and software trends to maintain our leadership in tools and innovation.
4. Deliver targeted training and support for new methodologies and tools, fostering a culture of learning and efficiency.
5. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, effectively communicating the benefits of new tools and methodologies.
6. Coordinate and align software projects with engineering principles, focusing on tool automation and enhancements.
7. Guide the team in adopting software best practices, including code reviews, build, and test operations.
You are best equipped for this job if you have:
1. A university degree in Electrical, Microelectronic Engineering or Computer Science.
2. A strong background in EDA/PLM methodology with proven experience in design flow development and CAD project execution.
3. Experience with Cadence, Synopsys or Siemens EDA tools.
4. Knowledge of IC-driven package technologies.
5. Software programming and scripting skills including modern practices like version control, continuous integration, and automated testing frameworks.
6. Experience in technical leadership and project management is an asset.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
