The department Payments Services is not only responsible for the smooth operation of national and international payment transactions but also for central compliance screening within the Erste Group. This makes us part of numerous national and international projects which are often pilot projects in the financial industry.
What to do:
* Work on the next generation of the payments infrastructure of Erste Group.
* Be part of a variety of projects, from strategic initiatives to regulatory requirements - from local to international scope.
* Analyze and evaluate existing payment system architectures to identify potential for improvement.
* Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to document and structure requirements and design potential solutions.
* Develop guidelines and standards for the payment area, ensuring the security, scalability, and efficiency of payment systems.
* Stay up-to-date with business and technology trends in the payments domain, for example by visiting conferences.
You check these boxes:
* Willingness to learn and deal with a complex and critical system of Erste Group.
* Several years of experience within the payments domain, ideally in a bank or financial institution.
* Extensive knowledge of national and international payment standards and processes (e.g. SEPA, SWIFT, ISO 20022).
* Practical experience applying requirements engineering methods, techniques, and tools.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical approach to uncertainties and challenges.
* Very strong communication and presentation skills in German as well as in English.
* Extensive experience with modelling languages (UML, BPMN or similar).
* Interpersonal skills and reliability as a team member.
