Are you interested in transposable elements and their role in early mammalian development? Do you like to develop new technologies and adapt them to in vivo and in vitro models of preimplantation development? Join our group as a postdoc!
Requirements:
* PhD or close to completion in developmental bio, mol bio, genomics, or similar
* Experience working with embryonic stem cells and CRISPR technologies
* Previous laboratory work with transcriptomics/genomics technologies and basic molecular biology
* Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and interest in supervising younger colleagues
We are a young team of highly motivated researchers studying regulation and function of repeats and transposons. Our goal is to understand how these elements shape gene expression and 3D genome organization post-fertilization, and how their products were co-opted by a host to become functional and sometimes essential. We use molecular biology and genomics approaches and apply them to stem cells and early embryos.
