The Role: Located in our Perth office, you will be responsible for the management, coordination, and implementation of Arc Flash Mitigation Strategies for a wide variety of sites located across the state. This role is ideal for a Senior Electrical Engineer aspiring to transition into Project Management, reporting directly to the Project Services Manager.
Key Duties:
* Co-ordinate a state-wide scope of multiple small packages.
* Manage a small team of technicians to deliver site-based works of switchboard modification and testing.
* Co-ordinate with both internal and external electrical design consultants.
* Confidently communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders, including clients, owners team, suppliers, consultants, and contractors.
* Develop test procedures for protection devices and switchboards.
* Fundamental understanding of fault studies, protection design, and arc flash analysis.
* Equipment selection and procurement.
* Scheduling and planning.
* Previous experience in circuit breaker testing highly regarded.
The Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
* Ability to communicate with stakeholders including Clients, Suppliers, Consultants, and Contractors.
* A fundamental understanding of fault studies, protection design, and arc flash analysis.
* Project management experience or training (highly desirable).
* Previous experience in Circuit breaker testing (preferable).
