About the Role
Located at our Head Office in Elermore Vale, The Partnership & Growth Manager is a pivotal role within Atwea, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The Partnership and Growth Manager holds a pivotal position at Atwea, responsible for supporting the organisation's growth strategy. This involves a multi-faceted approach, encompassing the identification and acquisition of grants and funding, the development of impactful programs, and the cultivation of partnerships. This role requires a deep understanding of Atwea's mission, the funding landscape, and the needs of the community it serves, enabling the manager to proactively identify and pursue opportunities that will propel the organisation forward.
This full-time role requires a proactive and results-oriented professional with a track record of developing and executing successful business strategies.
Successful applicants should be able to confidently:
1. Proactively identify and cultivate new strategic partnerships with funding bodies, corporate sponsors, foundations, government agencies, and community organisations.
2. Lead the identification of new funding sources, including grants, sponsorships, and philanthropic donations. Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for securing financial support from diverse sources.
3. Develop strong, ongoing relationships with stakeholders to foster long-term collaboration and ensure that partners feel valued and recognised.
4. Prepare high-quality funding proposals, presentations, and reports for potential and existing partners, securing new resources for ATWEA’s programs and services.
5. Contribute to the development and implementation of ATWEA’s long-term growth strategy by identifying areas for expansion and new partnership opportunities.
6. Work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure alignment between partnership efforts and ATWEA's organizational goals.
7. Ensure all activities, programs, and processes comply with relevant regulations and organisational policies. Implement quality assurance measures to maintain high standards in service delivery and product offerings.
8. Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer, in line with the role’s scope and organisational needs.
About You
1. You already live by the values of Inclusion, Integrity and Innovation.
2. Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Social Planning/Community Development, Marketing, Business or related.
3. At least 5 years of experience in partnership management, business development, or fundraising within the not-for-profit sector, with a proven track record in securing grants and funding.
4. Extensive experience in grant identification, writing, and reporting, with a strong understanding of what makes a compelling funding proposal.
5. Work across the organisation to develop a deep understanding of the priorities of Atwea with an eye to identifying, assessing and documenting opportunities for supporting organisational sustainability and financial resilience.
6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and build lasting relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
7. Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
8. Ability to think strategically and creatively, with a focus on expanding funding sources and building long-term, sustainable partnerships.
9. A deep commitment to the mission and values of ATWEA, with a passion for social change and community development.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and other relevant tools to manage partnerships, track progress, and report on outcomes.
11. Demonstrated ability to analyse the market and industry trends, identify business implications and act to sustain performance in the marketplace.
12. Manage risks, issues, and opportunities through regular planning, evaluation and development activities.
13. Investigate and harness new and emerging sources of income to support the sustainability and growth of Atwea.
14. Registered Training Organisation (RTO), Vocational Education and Training (VET), Secondary Education and not-for-profit organisation knowledge and experience desired.
15. Previous experience managing a partnership register or database of key stakeholders and funding sources.
Atwea College requires:
1. Valid NSW Working With Children Check and current National Criminal Police Record Check prior to the commencement of employment.
2. Child Protection Training and other ongoing legislative training as required, once employed.
