We are seeking a skilled and motivated Compliance Officer to join our Vienna team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing Ria Austria’s Compliance Program to ensure that all aspects of our operations in Austria meet regulatory requirements and adhere to internal policies. You will act as the primary liaison with the Central Bank and the Financial Market Authority (FMA), manage compliance-related documentation.
• Control and Supervision: Control and supervise the compliance with our anti-money laundering guidelines and the requirements of national regulatory authorities.
• Point of Contact: Act as the point of contact for the Financial Market Authority (FMA).
• Reporting and Monitoring: Prepare necessary reports and monitor the handling of internal and external suspicious activity reports.
• Training: Organize and conduct anti-money laundering prevention seminars and training for new employees and existing staff.
• Documentation: Review and update documents required for cooperation with agents and regulatory authorities.
• Legal Documents: Draft, create, and review legal documents related to administrative, police, and legal processes.
• Education: You have a degree in economics or law.
• Experience: You have experience in anti-money laundering prevention in credit or financial institutions.
• Payments Experience: Experience in the payments, money transfer, or currency exchange sector is preferred.
• Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Performance Under Pressure: Ability to present results effectively under time pressure.
