In your role, you will
* Create 3D pipe routing outline and detail drawings at product and plant level
* Provide static and dynamic pipe stress analysis
* Review and release designs considering contractual and internal requirements
* Collaborate closely with colleagues in other departments and locations
* Coordinate deliverables with other relevant disciplines (layout, automation, civil, etc.)
* Participate in safety evaluations and the preparation of installation procedures
* Support procurement by preparing information for inquiries
* Optimize and develop new design concepts in collaboration with process engineering and R&D
* Coordinate mechanical engineering tasks within projects depending on your experience
In your personal skillset you have
* Degree level qualification in a mechanical engineering discipline.
* Minimum three years of experience in piping engineering; background in the petrochemical industry is a plus.
* Knowledge of 3D CAD programs; experience with Aveva E3D or Autocad Inventor is a plus.
* Knowledge of CAE Tools for static and dynamic piping analysis; experience with Rohr2 is a plus.
* Knowledge of international codes and norms (ASME, ISO and EN, particularly ASME B31 and EN13480)
* General knowledge of steel and plastic piping materials
* Ability to consult with customers and notified bodies about technical design requirements
* Ability to explain design solutions in an engaging manner
* Experience performing acceptance tests and supervising installation during start-up
* Strong communication, analytical, and planning skills
* Willingness to travel for 3 days per month on average

In Austria, we are legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary of € 4.066,84 for this position.
Depending on qualifications and professional experience, we offer a market-based salary.
