Procurement Buyer - Hybrid Working Opportunity in Germany
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Buyer to join our fast-paced purchasing team. The ideal candidate will enjoy analysing procurement markets, negotiations, and supplier discussions.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a business investing in new technologies, fostering close collaboration with suppliers and stakeholders, and providing progression opportunities alongside hybrid working arrangements with one day per week in either Munich or Berlin offices.
Responsibilities include:
1. Selecting, qualifying, and developing suppliers while monitoring their performance.
2. Evaluating and selecting suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery speed.
3. Negotiating procurement terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers.
4. Developing and implementing procurement strategies for assigned projects in collaboration with project teams.
5. Building relationships and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
6. Identifying cost reduction and optimisation opportunities.
7. Managing risks related to procurement challenges.
8. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency.
To be successful in this role, you will require:

3. Proven experience in purchasing or supply chain management.
4. Bachelor's degree in business, law, or engineering, or relevant certifications.
5. A minimum of 2 years' experience in purchasing or supply chain management.
6. Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
7. Fluency in both German (C1) and English (B1).
8. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
9. Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office products.
