Your tasks * Independently conduct scientific research aimed at advancing the methodologies used to rapidly conduct valid evidence syntheses * Actively collaborate in evidence syntheses and methods research contributing as a co investigator * Teach courses in clinical epidemiology and evidence based medicine to undergraduate students, supervise bachelor theses * Publish research findings in international, peer reviewed scientific journals * Engage actively in both national and international conferences, presenting research findings and networking with peers in the scientific community * Participate in global research collaborations, such as those with Cochrane or JBI * Complete and submit a cumulative PhD dissertation in Applied Evidence Synthesis in Health Research within a three year timeframe. Your profileWe require evidence of the following qualifications for the application: * Completion of a diploma or master''s degree in a field related to health sciences (criterion must be met by 31 August 2025 at latest). * Basic knowledge in the concepts of evidence based medicine/practice, public health, epidemiology, and statistics, demonstrated e.g. by successful completion of relevant courses * Proficiency in scientific writing, demonstrated by scientific publications or master thesis * Excellent command of spoken and written English, at least at a B2 level In addition, the following criteria are desirable: * Experience in qualitative research methods * Experience in qualitative and/ or quantitative evidence synthesis * Academic achievements, such as publications, presentations, or awards * Flexibility, resilience, and ability to collaborate effectively within a team * Command of the German language (min.
