• Act as member of the Store Commercial Team and proactively contribute to the business plan, commercial strategy and commercial calendar process.
• Contribute to the growth agenda through the specific knowledge and insights about Home furnishing, Life at home, Trends and customers shopping behavior.
• Responsible for managing and coordinating people resources (Interior Designer, Visual Merchandiser & Graphics) and Budget.
• Contributing to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market.
• Using the richness of the IKEA product range to show many relevant, functional, beautiful, sustainable and affordable solutions in different distinct styles.
• Visualizing the uniqueness of the IKEA offer to distance us from the competition.
• Securing the use of the store layout as a commercial tool to plan and implement commercial strategies throughout the store.
• You are an experienced Leader who can coach, empower, engage and influence a team of co-workers and colleagues while communicating in an inspirational way with the IKEA tone of voice.
• You can drive the design and development of the experience & visualization of the IKEA offer in the local retail environment.
Your knowledge, skills, and experience include:
1. A design-based educational qualification and a solid background of working in a design-oriented role.
2. A strong passion, curiosity, and understanding of home furnishing, customer´s living situation as well as their needs and frustrations in their everyday life.
3. Broad knowledge of retail trends that influence home furnishing to gain insights to a more appealing product presentation.
4. Acting as an inspiring and motivating leader who can engage people fully in reaching goals, generating growth and long-term profitability.
5. Challenging your team and yourself in order to strengthen the IKEA offer and exceed customer expectations.
6. Understanding of the IKEA social and environmental commitments and know how you can contribute to sustainability.
7. Communicating fluently in English. German skills is a plus.
