Store Manager of Rito’s Continental Cafe & Deli
As the Store Manager of Rito’s Continental Café & Deli, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth service, maintaining high standards of quality, and leading a team with enthusiasm and efficiency. You will play a key role in driving sales, managing stock, and delivering an exceptional experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Customer Service
* Oversee daily café and deli operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
* Provide excellent customer service and uphold the store’s reputation for quality and hospitality.
* Address customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints in a professional and proactive manner.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food handling standards, and workplace policies.
Team Management
* Lead, train, and support the team to deliver exceptional service.
* Schedule shifts and manage rosters to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
* Foster a positive and motivating work environment, promoting teamwork and efficiency.
Stock & Inventory Management
* Order stock, manage inventory levels, and minimize waste while maintaining product freshness.
* Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for deliveries and cost-effective purchasing.
* Monitor and manage stock rotation, ensuring that all products meet quality standards.
Financial & Business Operations
* Monitor sales performance and assist in achieving revenue targets.
* Handle cash and oversee daily takings, including reconciliation and banking procedures.
* Implement cost-control measures to improve profitability.
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within a café, deli, or hospitality setting.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
* Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
* Knowledge of stock control, ordering, and supplier management.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
* Understanding of food safety regulations and workplace health and safety.
