What to do:
5. Responsibility for the architecture and design of the central Erste Group Payments System
6. Analysis and evaluation of the existing system architecture and identification of improvement potentials and enhancements
7. Collaboration with the solution management team to design technical solutions that align with new specifications
8. Continuous review and updating of the system architecture to meet changing requirements
9. Ensure security, scalability, and performance of the Payments System
You check these boxes:
10. Proven record of experience as a Mainframe Software Architect or in a similar position
11. Extensive knowledge and experience in mainframe technologies and systems, specifically in Natural/Adabas or COBOL/DB2
12. Expertise in designing and implementing concepts for complex software solutions
13. Excellent problem-solving skills, an analytical thinking approach and the ability to dig through the most complex systems
14. Strong communication skills both in English and German
15. High personal initiative, the ability to work in a team and across a whole IT organization
Beneficial:
16. Experience in banks and especially in the domain of Payments- or Coresystems
17. Very good knowledge of IT-Security, Reliability and Quality-Requirements of critical systems
18. Know-How in other Programming languages and technologies, such as Java, Kafka, Kubernetes,…

A competitive and performance-related salary dependent on your professional and personal qualifications is granted - the minimum wage for this position in accordance with the respective collective agreement is EUR 60.844,-- gross per year.
