Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Customer Facing Support Engineer to join our team in a vendor-network operator environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintenance and support activities of voice and/or messaging core network elements in a cloud environment.
This includes:
* Network change operations
* Upgrades
* Processing/tracing trouble tickets
* Performance monitoring
* Troubleshooting
* Inspection tasks
You will act as an interface between our network operator technical team and vendor level 3 support.
The successful candidate will provide technical support for mobile and fixed voice and messaging services.
Additionally, you will be required to perform on-call duty if necessary.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you should possess the following qualifications:
* University degree in computer science, electrical engineering/telecommunication, software engineering or equivalent
* Solid IT background - computer and transmission HW, IP networking, solid Linux knowhow
* Knowledge/experience of cloud technologies (Openstack, Container) is a plus
* Network support experience
* Working knowledge in following telecommunication protocols: ISUP, MAP, SIP, Diameter
* Mobile and fixed voice core and/or messaging knowhow
* IMS architecture knowhow is beneficial
* Acting as reliable team member in an international multicultural team
* Good communication and analytical skills
