Main Responsibilities:
1. Customer (one of the major Austrian mobile network operators) facing support engineer in a vendor-network operator environment (on-site).
2. Maintenance and support activities of voice core network elements in a cloud environment (network change operations, upgrades, processing/tracing trouble tickets, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, inspection tasks, etc.).
3. Acting as an interface between the network operator technical team and vendor level 3 support.
4. Providing technical support for mobile and fixed voice services.

Other Requirements:
1. University degree in computer science, electrical engineering/telecommunication, software engineering, or equivalent.
2. Solid IT background - computer and transmission hardware, IP networking, solid Linux know-how; knowledge/experience of Cloud Technologies (Openstack, Container) is a plus.
3. Network support experience, at least 2-3 years.
4. Working knowledge of the following telecommunication protocols: ISUP, MAP, SIP, Diameter.
5. Mobile and fixed voice core know-how.
6. IMS architecture know-how is beneficial.
7. Acting as a reliable team member in an international multicultural team.
8. Good communication and analytical skills.
9. Very good knowledge of the English language is mandatory.
10. German knowledge is not necessary but is nice to have.
11. Start day as soon as possible.
