Your Team
You will be part of the Colonial First State (CFS) Technology Line 1 IT Risk and Compliance Team which supports the Chief Operating Officer's Extended Management Team. Line 1 IT Risk is a team of five general and specialist risk SMEs (i.e. technology, cyber and data risk, assurance, regulatory compliance management and risk advisory) supporting CFS Technology and the broader CFS business in the delivery of strategic outcomes within an effective risk culture.
Your Responsibilities
* In this role you will ensure CFS' Risk and Compliance obligations are met, in line with the CFS standards and policies and those of industry regulators.
* You will drive and oversee the identification, assessment, management and resolution of risks including issues and incidents and controls management with a particular focus on critical IT assets and material suppliers.
* To do this effectively, you will need to apply established CFS risk frameworks and standards and work with the established GRC system. Scope of your risk work will span across various transformation projects delivering key strategic outcomes for the CFS business and its customers, as well as critical systems and applications and the material suppliers who provide such IT services to CFS.
* You will also act as a trusted advisor to management and your team on the above to ensure strong risk culture is maintained at CFS through the right risk behaviours and values, processes, and effective use of technology to support risk-based decisions to protect our customers and our business.
Your Capability and Experience
* Proven experience in either controls-focused Service Management or technology risk advisory/assurance fields.
* Strong problem solver and critical thinker who takes pride in absorbing information and turning them into actionable insights and outcomes.
* Ability to support and manage a large and varied stakeholder group at all levels of seniority across the business.
* Understanding of industry frameworks and standards such as ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27001.
* Familiarity with APRA standards (including SPS/CPS220, 231, 232, 234 and upcoming CPS230).
