I am pleased to be working with my client in the electrical services industry and as such I am leading the search for a Branch Manager in Toowoomba. If you are looking for a step-up and are open to a relocation to beautiful Toowoomba and the Darling Downs, then this is the role for you.
Your Role
The role of full-time Branch Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Toowoomba & Darling Downs branch and is responsible for delivering the national and regional strategic plan as directed including the overall strategy of projects and services to customers.
This role has full P&L responsibility for the branch and the management of all OH&S, QA, HR/IR, financial forecasting, budgeting, client retention and organic growth as well as sales growth plans.
Sizeable turnover and a clear opportunity to cross over from minor to major works, the successful candidate is going to be operationally flawless and geared towards driving energetic growth, in a client facing, sales and continuous improvement environment.
Main Responsibilities
1. Full operational responsibility, managing staff, directly and indirectly, full responsibility of P&L, budgeting and weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasting and reporting.
2. In consultation with the Manager, implement measures to ensure attainment of targets.
3. Day-to-day management of staff performance and the implementation and management of performance reviews.
4. Where appropriate, maximize business opportunities by providing estimating/sales capacity support and follow up to optimize opportunities.
5. Visit customers and maintain goodwill and promote the sale of the company products to existing and potential customers.
To Succeed
1. Tertiary Business Qualification or Diploma preferred. Ideally a Trade certified electrical background, or experience in an electrical, building services, or fire industry environment.
2. QBCC licensing preferred, not essential.
3. Minimum of 5 years management experience with significant operational, sales and people management exposure.
4. Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement programs.
5. Confident management and leadership style, supportive with superb people skills.
6. Energetic, strong client facing skills, and must possess drive.
