Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Information Technology Support Engineer for a mid-level position at EIL Global IT Solutions and Services Pvt Ltd. The role is based in Vienna and is structured as a Contract-To-Hire position. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years to a maximum of 6 years of relevant work experience in IT support. This role involves providing comprehensive IT support to our diverse client base, enhancing service delivery through effective problem-solving and innovative solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
* Proficiency in Active Directory and Microsoft 365 is essential for user and group management, security policies, and identity/access administration (Mandatory skill).
* Expertise in troubleshooting hardware and software issues to ensure timely resolution and minimal business disruption (Mandatory skill).
* Proven experience in Windows Server Administration including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of server environments.
* Understanding of networking protocols and configurations to effectively diagnose and resolve network-related issues.
* Proficient in remote desktop support to provide assistance and resolve technical issues for users in different locations.
* Experience with the ITIL framework to ensure IT service management aligns with business needs and processes.
* Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, enabling efficient deployment and management of cloud services.
* Strong communication skills to clearly interact with clients and team members for effective problem resolution and collaboration.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Provide efficient IT support and troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity for clients.
* Manage and maintain Active Directory and Microsoft 365 services, ensuring seamless operations and security compliance.
* Administer Windows servers, implementing updates, backups, and configuration changes as required.
* Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure components to improve IT service delivery.
* Deliver exceptional remote desktop support to facilitate remote work and diagnose technical issues effectively.
* Collaborate with the IT team to enhance support processes and develop proactive solutions for recurring issues.
* Utilize ITIL best practices to ensure the IT infrastructure and services are aligned with the organization's objectives.
* Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored IT solutions that enhance their operational capabilities.
