We are dedicated to excellence in design and engineering of cutting-edge solutions for the semiconductor industry.
This position plays a crucial role in supporting the new product pilot production factory, virtual manufacturing, or high-volume manufacturing production factory. Using technology and engineering principles, you will oversee the planning, development, and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes, and operations. You'll tackle technical, quality, and production challenges by optimizing manufacturing costs and standards, helping shape our commitment to innovation and efficiency in manufacturing.
In this role, you will directly contribute to panel equipment production. Key responsibilities include:
* Troubleshooting new or existing product problems involving designs, materials, or processes;
* Designing, developing, and implementing safe and cost-effective complex equipment and methods of assembly for all phases of manufacturing;
* Defining process and methods for high volume manufacturing, including operations method sheets, routing, and sequencing;
* Performing virtual builds and creating sequences of assembly;
* Investigating root causes of operational problems and recommending corrective actions for material use variances, bottlenecks, fixture issues during build or manufacturing process;
* Identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing processes or resolve problems and following through on resolutions to reduce costs, improve product quality, and cycle time;
* Reviewing and developing designs that improve product manufacturability and assembly;
* Coodinating new product builds in pilot production manufacturing with close partnership with manufacturing and product engineers;
* Creating and releasing engineering drawings and bill of materials (BOM) using Engineering Change Management process;
* Developing handoff packages for product transition to high-volume manufacturing.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience; or Master's degree with 6+ years' experience; or equivalent experience;
* Skilled troubleshooting capabilities in electro/mechanical assemblies;
* Solid understanding of manufacturing processes;
* Proficient in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA), structured problem-solving, and decision-making;
* Proficient in software applications such as CAD modeling, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), or Product Data Modeling (PDM) systems;
* Experience in Engineering Change Management Process;
* Working knowledge of Operation Method Sheets (OMS), process planning, and Bill of Materials (BOM) Management.
We offer a range of benefits and work models to support your career growth and well-being.
