Traffic Control - Field Services Manager

About the Role:
As part of our recent growth, we are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Traffic Control - Field Services Manager to join our team on the Gold Coast.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role involves supervising traffic controllers and assisting in the achievement of key safety and operational objectives. Responsibilities include:
1. Weekly roster management
2. Conducting training and inductions
3. Managing injuries and incidents
4. Overseeing fleet and equipment operations
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations as outlined in Queensland legislation, industry Codes, and best practices.
2. Supervise the safe and compliant delivery of traffic management services.
3. Provide clear guidance to traffic controllers on safe work practices that align with company policies, legislation, and industry standards.
4. Lead training and upskilling of on-road staff.
5. Collaborate closely with clients and traffic controllers to resolve on-site issues effectively.
6. Conduct site visits and audits, promoting a strong safety culture.
7. Lead incident investigations.
8. Lead by example, driving the team to meet company objectives.
9. Support injured workers and assist with the implementation of return-to-work plans.
Skills & Experience:
1. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Traffic Control industry.
2. Queensland White Card.
3. Driver’s licence with the ability to drive manual vehicles.
4. QLD Traffic Control Licence (Industry Authority Card).
5. Proven experience in a supervisory or training role minimum 5 years.
6. Prior experience in an environment with a strong focus on health and safety.
7. Proficient computer skills, with the ability to learn new systems.
8. Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients.
