MADEC delivers both traditional labour hire services, and seasonal worker labour hire services via the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme delivered in partnership with the Australian government and countries in the Pacific Islands and Timor-Leste. MADEC plays a prominent role in the market in assisting businesses with diverse and practical workforce solutions predominantly within the horticulture, fish, meat and hospitality industries.
The State Manager is a dynamic role where you will be a key player in developing and maintaining professional relationships with clients and stakeholders, and drive business growth. Further, you will:
* Provide leadership and direction to a team of Account Managers and worker liaison staff to ensure labour hire assignments are managed effectively;
* Deliver end to end recruitment processes that are transparent, informed, and compliant with MADEC processes and statutory requirements;
* Review services delivered by the team and implementation of appropriate process improvements with key clients;
* Ensure client and worker relationships are maintained to the highest degree;
* Manage the effective relationship with third parties including trade union, and governing bodies;
* Report on key performance metrics to internal stakeholders.
As State Manager you will have responsibility for all client management throughout South Australia, and as part of this you will travel to Host Employer sites in the following regions:
* Port Lincoln
* Port Augusta
About you
* You are commercially astute having honed your skills in a general business management role or customer centric role.
* You will work with a diverse range of clients focusing on service excellence to meet their expectations while observing best practice and regulatory principles.
* You will be able to efficiently problem solve, drive outcomes whilst working to an accountability framework.
* Your leadership and interpersonal skills will be of a high level while working independently and exercising initiative.
* You will be someone who thinks outside the square, is resilient and thrives in a competitive and challenging industry.
About our benefits
The base remuneration for this role is between $90-110K, plus superannuation and a fully maintained company vehicle.
