We're currently seeking a talented Retail Development Manager to oversee Western Australia & Northern Territory.

This role requires extensive travel and the ability to work autonomously.
To be successful in this role:
* Passion for retailing and prior experience in merchandising products (e.g., store setup/displays).
* Understanding of operational processes in retail store management and setup.
* Ability to build customer relationships quickly.
* Previous retail experience in Grocery/C-Store or FMCG sales.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Self-motivated, highly organized, and results-driven.
* Ability to work independently and react quickly to market changes.
Core Responsibilities:
* Effective sales and territory management.
* Drive new business as well as maintaining current customer base.
* Building and maintaining relationships with current customers and new retailers.
* Planning and adhering to journey plan schedules.
* Developing plans to maximize profitability.
* Monitoring sales performance and identifying trends.
* Achieving company KPIs.
* Executing new store developments, setups, and in-store relays.
* Executing and delivering results.
* Business acumen – understanding of basic retail financials (i.e., income and expense / ROI / GP$ and % calculations).
* Implementation of company direction.
* Developing strategic relationships.
* Communication – customers, suppliers, management, and office support teams.
* Customer orientation.
* Basic computing skills – Microsoft Office / Outlook / PowerPoint / Excel.
* Previous experience in either a supermarket retail environment (i.e., Coles/Woolworths) or C-Store retail environment or prior experience as a sales rep with an FMCG company is necessary.
* Competency in seeking new business.
