We're on the hunt for an experienced Finance Manager (m/w/d) based in Hamburg or in Innsburck. A successful candidate will act as a trusted business partner to the DACH-CWE Cluster Management Team, providing support to all functions in driving business performance and sustainable growth – challenging constructively the local teams. The position is strategically important with the aim to support and energize Cluster teams, especially towards backoffice, Sales/Admin support office-based employees.
What you’ll do at Elekta
The Finance Manager responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Being a key member of the REU Finance Management Team – providing regional insights and value-added inputs on REU Finance structure, processes and supporting digitalization & profitable growth roadmap.
* Lead DACH-CWE Cluster Finance Team and supervise EBS team members supporting the Cluster in a coordinated way in order to drive efficiency, status quo challenge and execute on upper standards.
* Supervise and standardize local accounting practices with the purpose of facilitating the transition to EBS (Shared Services Center)
* Contribute and support Group initiatives to implement improvements in process design and system utilization (e.g. Business Planning system)
* Active preparation/participation in Business Reviews within Cluster. Driving financial performance.
* Improve the financial knowledge and understanding across the Cluster by providing training and education as appropriate.
* Business Sparring Partner to the Cluster VP on commercial activities & strategies as well as organizational and structural transformation to ensure DACH-CWE Cluster reaches higher standard of performance and excellence
* Identify regional synergies and possible centralization efforts
* Simplify MEC activities for Cluster controllers & promote Biz Partnering tasks
* Active support for local accountants with limited functional management
* Drive alignment and continuous improvement of financial processes in large European Clusters in collaboration with the Region, Group Finance and EBS to improve efficiency and effectiveness
* Financial reporting for pre-listed legal entities in group accounting system to ensure completeness, clarity of information is maintained and timeliness of submissions. A high quality of data/reporting is required.

* Excellent communication and customer management skills.
* Self-motivated, self-starter and flexible.
* Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
* Mature business acumen and previous experience from business management.
What you’ll bring
* Degree in Finance/Business administration
* Extensive experience in Business Control and Accounting
* Preferably prior knowledge of the Medtech industry
* Effective, clear and concise communication skills both written and spoken English and German
* Proven People Management experience and effective team player
* Ability to travel when required
