Create features and products that holistically balance the needs of our customers and the business.In addition to this, you will contribute to the definition and development of detailed customer experience designs from project inception through to build and launch. The role will also assist with the creation of UX deliverables including scenario mapping, user journeys and workflows, information architecture, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.If you would like to contribute to the design of products that embody core user experience principles whilst balancing the needs of customers and the business, we encourage you to apply!Day to day:Conducting user research activities including interviews, contextual enquiries, A/B testing, surveys, and metrics analysisStrong knowledge of user-centred design and design thinking methodologies and techniquesInvolve customers and stakeholders in the design processAble to plan and conduct UX research to seek insights into customer behaviour and needsAble to validate design decisions and concepts with data and user testing.Identify and troubleshoot UX problemsIllustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, prototypes and UI designsChampion Experience Design with organisational stakeholdersLiaise and present work to get buy-in on project initiatives with internal stakeholders to ensure design solutions meet both customer, consultant, and business requirementsWork with product managers, product owners and engineers to gather and evaluate requirementsCollaborate with other designers within the team to ensure consistent customer experience across a range of productsMentor other designers and contribute to UX team processes and initiativesYou'll be perfect for the role if you have:4+ years experience as a UX/UI or Product DesignerExperience with Figma, Sketch, XD or similarExperience in both qualitative and quantitative research and analysisExperience using and contributing to a design systemStrong skills in foundational UI designKnowledge of mobile platform-specific guidelines (e.g. Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, Google's Material Design)Understanding of micro-interactions, animations and motion design to enhance user engagementWhat you will enjoy:Culture: You will be employed by an inclusive company that offers a team culture like no other in the industry - Flight Centre Travel Group Australia is proud to be a certified Great Place To Work Australia New Zealand Pty Ltd.Development: Individualised, ongoing Learning & Development via communities of practice.
