Tasks and Responsibilities
* Development of product portfolio strategy, market introduction plans and product marketing plans (family concepts and product life cycle management)
* Analysis of global market trends, global competitor landscape, market data
* Monitor changes in the market, technology, standardization and regulations
* Define BU research/innovation activities and cooperation with external institutes (in close cooperation with medical affairs, R&D and Sales)
* Responsibility for strategic product marketing activities
* Definition what products/solutions are needed to fulfil changing customer needs
* Customer support and expansion of customer relationships
* Close collaboration with sales organization to support product sales growth
* Optimize the product management process
* Availability and quality of market driven BU product roadmap & process
* Manage BU standardization activities (SKU reduction)
* Set up and manage alliances with key customers and key influencers
* Establish and maintain effective processes for a structured information flow of product related information between the sales organization and the BU
* Ensure product support process and product documentation process is in line with the R&D and global Medical & Clinical affairs processes and fully aligned with marketing strategy
Required Capabilities / Competencies
* University degree in natural sciences, medical with strong background/experience in economical related topics or likewise
* At least 7+ years professional experience, incl. several years in product management and/or marketing
* Experience in the healthcare industry, ideally in medical consumables, IVD and similar customer groups (e.g., hospitals, labs)
* Thorough understanding and experience in holistic and strategic thinking
* Leadership experience in an international and multiple site team set-up
* Experience with international teams as well as change processes
* Communication skills in English

Due to legal standards in Austria, we are required to disclose the minimum gross salary for the position as defined by the collective agreement, which amounts EUR 73,112.90 (collective agreement for chemical industry). Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, you may be eligible for a significant overpayment.
