Senior Project & Change Manager - Workplace Relations
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead critical initiatives in Workplace Relations and Payroll. This role is ideal for a Project Management professional who can also bring experience in change management, in addition to business knowledge and expertise in areas such as award interpretation, governance, and compliance.
The successful candidate will take a hands-on approach in shaping project frameworks and methodologies, ensuring seamless coordination across multiple workstreams. They will oversee efforts in process and system selection (end to end across the RFI/RFQ process), data and reporting, and workplace relations, while also maintaining strong engagement with senior leadership up to the steering committee. This is a daily rate contract, with a hybrid work arrangement, located in Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement structured project frameworks to drive efficiency and compliance.
* Lead and coordinate teams across process design, system implementation, data management, and workplace relations.
* Oversee change impact assessments and collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver effective change and communication strategies.
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure project alignment and success.
* Establish robust governance and business rules to support project objectives.
Key Experience:
* Proven experience managing complex projects, particularly in HR/HCM, Workplace Relations, Payroll, Award Interpretations, and/or environments aligned to EBAs.
* Proven background in change management, with a track record of managing change on successful transformation initiatives.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior leadership teams.
* Hands-on experience in managing projects impacting business systems, process and people change, for HCM/HR/Workplace Relations and/or payroll system implementations, and business process improvements.
