YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Integration of mechanical, hydraulic, and mechatronic modules and/or subsystems throughout the entire Product Development Process until serial production, in order to perform at the complete Product level
2. Capability of leading teams of experts in the different areas of competence and integrating them into a goal-oriented cooperation: leading by knowledge, methods, and charisma not only on a hierarchical basis
3. Understanding of the interfaces, performance requirements and interaction of complex systems that allows preventive and proactive analysis and execution to achieve an optimized product
4. Hands on experience and passion to engage in design to cost and value engineering & design for manufacturing and assembling
5. Capability of being a reliable sparring partner to Product Management, Quality and Service Cost Controlling, Procurement, Operations and Project Management
6. Effective Cooperation with the engineering entities that are in charge of innovation: to explicit to them the product requirement and constrains, to deliver the product perspective into strategic developments, with the ultimate goal of ensuring and maintaining product excellence
7. Validation of the design in physical prototypes and coordinating product verification with Prototyping and Testing
8. Hands on experience on risk analysis on concepts, and capability of defining/reviewing the V&V plan accordingly
9. Deep understanding of Norms, their evolution and their impact on product development cycle
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
10. Bachelor or Master university degree in the field of mechanical, mechatronic, hydraulic engineering or similar
11. Several years (min. 10) of professional experience in the field of product development, preferred machines in the construction equipment or agricultural fields, organized in serial production
12. Strong social and intercultural competence/communication and language skills
13. Analytical thinking and independent, goal-oriented and systematic way of working
14. Fast information gathering and rapid learning of existing and new knowledge
15. Daily contribution to a continuous improvement (processes, global teamwork, lessons learned)
16. Team player who takes ownership and responsibility
17. Very good knowledge of German and English and readiness to travel (10%)

Minimum gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 57.,92. We are willing to overpay according to training and qualification.
