Junior Commercial Advisor – District Energy and Biogas
The Royal Danish Consulate General in Hamburg is seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Commercial Advisor to join our Trade team, focusing on energy with particular emphasis on biogas and district heating. As Junior Commercial Advisor you will primarily support administrative and operational activities critical to the success of the team’s initiatives.

Contract Type: Local contract based on the Staff Rules of the Mission (initially for 2 years, with the possibility of extension)

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of export promotion, public affairs, and energy sector innovation, contributing to Denmark's leadership in sustainable energy solutions.
You will play a key role in creating value for Danish companies by supporting their export activities in Germany. This involves strategic advisory, fostering partnerships, and sharing knowledge across key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the organization of stakeholder meetings, technical workshops, and delegation trips.
* Coordinate travel arrangements and event logistics.
* Maintain up-to-date records of clients, stakeholders, and activities in CRM systems.
* Prepare meeting notes, reports, and presentations.
* Support the execution of the communication strategy for Dänische Fernwärme and Biogas Alliance.
* Assist in creating content for newsletters, reports, and marketing materials.
* Conduct basic market research to support the Commercial Advisor and team activities.
* Coordinate communication with stakeholders, both in Denmark and Germany.
Your Profile:
What we are looking for:
* At least 1 year of experience in administrative support, coordination, or event management.
* Familiarity with the energy sector is an advantage but not required.
* Fluency in German and English is essential.
* Proficiency in Danish or another Scandinavian language is a plus.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
* A proactive and collaborative work style.
* Willingness to support occasional business travel and event participation.
