Could you be the next Material planner in Vienna, Austria we’re looking for?
Your future role
From Vienna to the world: our Viennese site is a global competence center for trams and light rail vehicles. 800 colleagues develop and manufacture the Flexity™ tram for worldwide customers from Austria to Australia. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to Vian Batush (Material Planning Coordinaton Manager, Vienna) and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
You'll manage your Supplier's portfolio (Internal and/or External suppliers) for ensuring goods delivery at the right time and place based on Alstom needs.
You’ll specifically express delivery needs to suppliers and animate the Supplier's delivery performances and drive action plans for performance improvement & contribute to risk management.
We’ll look to you for:
1. Monitor Supplier's performance KPI's and participate/lead to Supplier's performance improvement (animation).
2. Manage Purchase Requisition flow up to Material Planning documents (for internal suppliers).
3. Follow up with Sourcing the Purchase Requisition level maturity for launching Material Planning documents (for external suppliers).
4. Ensure and update the accuracy of material planning master data (in compliance with stock and logistic constraints).
5. Create the Material Planning documents (Call-off, Schedule Agreement) & respective Source List.
6. Communicate the Material Planning documents to Suppliers and follow Suppliers confirmation.
7. Analyse Suppliers confirmations vs. Alstom needs and evaluate the risk/impact anticipation on production/projects.
8. Identify priorities associated with risk/impact anticipation and set up recovery actions.
9. Maintain a routine with Suppliers in order to check the status of deliveries.
10. Analyse and manage MRP exception messages and anticipate supply problems (backlogs, shortages)
11. Maintain delivery dates in ERP and track missing parts until stock availability.
12. Ensure non-conformities replacement
13. Resolve Receiving issues (overstock, shortage, damage, documentation, etc.).
14. Analyse and share deliveries performances KPI's with different stakeholders (Internal & External).
15. Collaborate with Material Planning Management/Supplier Delivery Performance Manager to validate worst Suppliers and define appropriate action plan.
16. Apply appropriate communication routines with Suppliers based on their delivery performances.
17. Drive and follow (when involved) Supplier Capacity Assessment and Supplier's Light Capability Assessment
18. Contribute to new business risk assessments and mitigation action plan.

19. Graduated at least from Higher Education in Business Administration or Engineering or Supply Chain
20. Supply Chain certification and SAP experience would be desirable
21. Experience with ERPs, Supply Chain concepts, processes continuous improvement
22. Fluency in English and German language
