Head of Quality & Expediting (f/m/*)
What are my responsibilities?
The department PTAT SC EQC "Expediting and Quality Control" is searching for a "Head of Quality & Expediting (f/m/*)" with the following tasks:
1. Management responsibility for a staff of more than 10 people, technical and organizational lead of the department EQC
2. Planning and allocation of supervisors/inspectors for pre-projects and projects
3. Managing the assurance of delivery- and quality targets for mechanical key equipment in projects
4. Selecting the adequate personnel for manufacturing supervisions and inspections
5. Retaining of assigned budgets for manufacturing supervision with regard to adherence to costs
6. Assuring Coordination with Primetals Technologies global EQC organization
7. Responsible for selection of inspection companies for supervision and inspection services
8. Organize continuous training and improvement of skills for own personnel
9. Co-Ordination of customer inspections at suppliers
10. Negotiation of customer manufacturing standards
11. Organize audits, assessments, pre-qualification of suppliers
What do I need to qualify for this job?
12. Technical education (HTL, FH or technical university)
13. Experienced in welding engineering and mechanical processing
14. Several years of working experience in plant building
15. Experienced in quality assurance of equipment of the steel industry
16. Advanced IT skills (Word, Excel, Access)
17. English C1
18. Willingness to travel

What else do I need to know?
The minimum annual gross salary for this position under the collective agreement and assuming that all requirements are met is EUR 50.286,18 (F/00). This could rise considerably, depending on qualifications and experience.
