Activities
At the heart of a centralized system in an international context, you will work in a HUB responsible for Austria, Hungary and South-Eastern Europe, with offices in Vienna, Budapest and Belgrade. We offer a friendly and modern work environment with a strong team that supports newcomers.
You will develop the business through personal visits and cold calling, managing the customer base of large and medium-sized transport and freight companies in Western Austria (Upper Austria, Salzburg, Tyrol, Vorarlberg), South Tyrol and German-speaking Switzerland. Your main tasks will be:
1. Acquisition and development of a customer portfolio
2. Identification and generation of business contacts through research and personal contacts
3. Qualification of leads to prospects through visits and cold calls
4. Conducting sales talks during sales visits, phone or video calls
5. Implementing measures to generate new business with existing customers through upselling campaigns
6. Building and maintaining a relationship of trust with the customer
7. Creating and recording visits and results with CRM Salesforce
8. Processing and managing customer contracts
9. Supporting the after-sales team with customer onboarding and problem solving
10. Handling and resolving customer inquiries
11. Introducing communication measures (new services, new service stations, etc.)
12. Managing credit risks and collecting overdue amounts
13. Working with and supporting colleagues from the credit, customer service and finance departments to achieve common goals
14. Participating in training and developing relevant knowledge and skills
15. Achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets in line with established objectives
16. Providing relevant market, competitive, and customer information to the sales manager
Candidate Profile
* Energetic and extroverted personality who gets things done and can work independently
* Solid primary and secondary education in marketing, economics, science or technology
* Min. 3 years experience in sales to Austrian transport companies and freighters
* Excellent interpersonal skills: communication, presentation, empathy and teamwork
* Excellent commercial and negotiation skills
* Good knowledge of basic IT tools, CRM (e.g. Salesforce), telephone systems
* Curiosity and a passion for challenges
* Team spirit and solidarity
* Ability to work in a demanding and fast-changing environment
* German as mother tongue and fluent in English, another language (French, Hungarian, Serbian / Croatian or Slovenian) is a major asset
