Hitachi Energy has an exciting opportunity as a Regional Digital Sales & Business Development Lead to drive the growth in digital business within the Power Industry. The ideal candidate will be apt in building strong relationships with key customers and key stakeholders. You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote our company’s solutions and innovations and achieve mutual satisfaction. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the DACH-Region digital growth strategy.

Your responsibilities
1. Develop and implement the DACH-Region digital growth strategy, including digital country growth plans.
2. Business development in (future) digital growth categories.
3. Market analysis: Provide local market intelligence incl. competitor moves in digital.
4. Digital domain competence and support, local inputs to value propositions.
5. Digital value propositions are propagated in the DACH region.
6. Achieving targets for digital pipeline, order growth and penetration into new segments. Win strategic opportunities. Qualification of sales lead, drive Capture Teams.
7. Support the Country’s CEO and VP Sales with their strategic and local accounts.
8. Relationships with senior level stakeholders.
9. Manage associations groups engagement in the region.
10. Provide functional leadership and coaching to digital sales.
Your background
11. Bachelor’s Degree in business or a technical field with 5 years of professional experience working with Sales & Marketing and/or Business Development.
12. Must have knowledge of Digital Market and be experienced in Power Industry.
13. Ability to build, grow and maintain positive relationships and to build networks.
14. Must have a digital & technical mindset to build customer confidence in solutions to open doors and command respect when proposing solutions and support closing the deal.
15. Excellent communicator (verbal and written), ability to lead the defined strategy internally with multiple product lines in support of lead qualification, proposal responses and contract negotiations.
16. A profound sense of quality and a keen interest in complexities, a sense of urgency, and persistence in achieving goals. Demonstrate strong teamwork skills, leadership, and strong priority.
17. Experience in value-based and strategic selling to take the lead in high level sales engagements is an asset.
18. Willing to travel domestically and internationally.
19. Fluent in German and English, spoken and written.
