Your impact
Under the responsibility of the Chief Scheme Officer of EPI (second most important executive of the company), you will:
* Create, review & update the Operating Rules & Regulations:
Work with the different EPI teams and with member banks to gather market, product and regulatory requirements that would originate the creation of a new Rule or the update of an existing one.
* Manage the administrative onboarding process of new PSP Applicants for EPI Membership by:
o Analysing the documentation presented by the candidates, particularly from a risk, financial stability & AML perspectives.
o Communicating with the applicants to obtain clarifications whenever needed.
o Issuing recommendations for the Membership Management Committee, raising any particular concern or red flags.
o Managing and storing documentation.
To succeed, you should meet at least 70% of these requirements:
* Good knowledge of Payment landscape, notably: EPC SCT Inst, A2A, regulations and the two-sided market dynamics.
* Previous solid experience in rules writing for payment schemes.
* Previous experience in a financial institution is a plus.
* Outstanding communication skills in English (verbal & written).
* Highly structured & paying utmost attention to details.
* Ability to synthesize and to translate difficult concepts into easy-to-understand words.
* Mastery of PowerPoint & Confluence.
* Degree preferred in business, economics, with focus in risk management (the ideal profile would be a mix of business/economics and law).
* Knowledge of French, German, and/or Dutch would be a plus.
About the team
You will report to Carmen, the EPI Chief Scheme Officer, who has an impressive international career of over 20 years in payments. Her team is made of strong experts in Scheme Rules, Certification & Approval and Fraud management spread in the European Union. You will meet some of them in the recruitment process.
