At PwC, you’ll be supported by a flexible working culture, innovative learning and development opportunities, and progressive policies and benefits.
A role in our Risk & Independence Operations Team will provide you with the opportunity to support our business and our client-facing teams by assisting our people in the assessment and management of risks and in meeting our compliance responsibilities.
What will you create?
As a Senior Associate in our Risk & Independence Operations Team your impact will be seen by:
* Helping drive the success of our internal risk support, audit independence, and policy compliance functions through involvement in the more “transactional” elements of our delivery model and ensuring we help the PwC businesses to do business.
* Developing specialist skills in the key processes that support our risk management, independence, and compliance activities.
* Providing practical guidance to help our client-facing teams navigate our internal processes.
* Playing a key role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our support activities in critical and complex areas, in line with our Firm and Network requirements.
* Utilising digital solutions to streamline the delivery of our services and helping us to improve them.
Background and experience
The ideal person for our Risk & Independence Operations Team is:

* Comfortable working with technology, able to quickly adapt to new technology, enjoys working in an innovative environment, and has a demonstrated aptitude to learn and leverage new data tools.
* A problem solver by nature, passionate about being at the forefront of change and ready to help us transform how we support our businesses.
Degree qualified, or significant equivalent experience is great but not required if you are professional, a fast learner, and committed to getting the job done to an exceptionally high standard each and every time.
A strong background in or exposure to risk management, policy and compliance, business operations, or professional services would be a bonus.

* Take pride in your work, consistently deliver high-quality outcomes, and are accountable for your actions.
* Demonstrate high attention to detail and a commitment to getting it right.
* Understand the importance of following processes but are agile and able to pivot where a different approach or broader consideration is required.
* Are organised, able to multitask, and happy to work in a constantly changing and dynamic environment.
* Have strong written skills and confidence sourcing, collating, and reviewing information for reporting purposes.
* Are proactive, able to work calmly under pressure and to tight deadlines, and committed to high standards of customer service.
* Always act with integrity and show care for the people you work with.
