Our client is looking for a Network Operations Manager to lead and support a team of technical specialists overseeing design, service delivery, incident response activities, and 2nd & 3rd level application and network support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the network and operations team to drive the development, implementation, and maintenance of organisation-wide enterprise architecture and projects.
* Deliver strategic plans for the network and operations function through identifying and responding to new and emerging strategic issues impacting the operational environment.
* Ensure maintenance, monitoring, and reporting on the overall networking environment.
* Oversee the Service Desk function, taking responsibility for delivering efficient and effective support services to the business.
* Work with vendors to identify opportunities for improvement, leveraging technology to improve ways of working across networks and telecommunications.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* 4+ years' demonstrated experience in leading a team of network & infrastructure engineers.
* Demonstrated experience with large-scale network architecture and knowledge of Cisco, Citrix, Juniper & Azure technologies.
* Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with and influence a variety of stakeholders to achieve mutual understanding and agreed outcomes.
* Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain a strong business relationship with stakeholders and vendors.
