ABOUT THE POSITION
The MS Technical Support Manager will manage day-to-day activities for the inside equipment sales team across Materials Solutions (MS). This position will oversee all aspects of equipment ordering and will develop streamlined processes for handling new orders, changing orders, sales logistics and managing the information flow with internal and external customers.
* Technical Support & Plant Optimization.
* Utilizing Aggflow software and 2D modelling to design, assess, and optimize plant configurations for efficiency and performance.
* Conducting plant optimization analyses, including comparative value propositions for system improvements and cost-benefit assessments.
* Managing liner design improvements and performance upgrades to ensure sustained high-quality outputs.
* Preparing and managing detailed quotations and liaising with factories regarding delivery timing, specifications, and requirements.
* Overseeing Purchase Order (PO) details, handling both inbound and outbound logistics, and coordinating alternative freight strategies as needed.
* Providing transparency and updates on the dealer pipeline, ensuring that stakeholders are informed of current project statuses and timelines.
* Estimating plant build flows, layouts, and timelines to deliver efficient, cost-effective plant setups tailored to client needs.
To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:
* Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing or equivalent business experience
* Minimum 10 years career experience in equipment sales industry or business operations, preferably heavy equipment. (Crushing and Screening)
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, negotiation and Managership skills are required
* Experience with CRM and ERP software required
* Ability to travel overnight and work long hours; ability to obtain and maintain a passport is required
