Our client is a highly successful company in Renewables (headquartered in Austria) that develops, realizes, and manages globally alternative investments in the strong photovoltaic growth sector. For the location in Italy/Jesi (full REMOTE possible), the following high potential opportunity is available:
Your Job:
* Origination of offtake solutions for power or other commodities/services produced by company plants (PV, BESS, and others), including but not limited to Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), tariffs, subsidies, tenders, CO2 certificates, GOs, etc., as well as short-term and standardized power market products (peak-load, etc.) for merchant assets.
* Direct and indirect origination of potential customers for PPAs (Utility and CPPA) and other types of offtake/commercialization of services for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and hydrogen.
* Structured handling of PPAs and other types of offtakes, including standardized power market products from origination of offtakers to shortlisting, bidding, evaluation, negotiation, and signature of offtake contracts.
* Development and implementation of tender processes for CPPAs by the company, as well as management of participation in third-party tenders, definition of bidding strategies, and commercial offers towards corporate offtakers under direct origination.
* Development of new marketing concepts, e.g., in combination with battery systems, and management of origination, negotiation, and closure of offtake and service agreements for co-located assets (PV+BESS).
* Support to the analysis of the Italian power market and the impact of regulation on energy market and offtake activities of the company's group in Italy.
Your Tasks:
* Completed business studies specializing in energy management, trading, or hedging management or a related field.
* 7+ years of experience in retail sale of power to Italian industrial customers with face-to-face interactions and a large network of contacts with Italian industrial power buyers critical for success in the role.
* Willingness to travel within Italy (up to 30% of the time) and for team meetings (across Europe).
* 7+ years of experience in energy trading and in concluding PPA contracts.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Analytical thinking and strategic planning skills.
* Business fluent in Italian and English is a requirement. Any other languages are a benefit, especially German, French, Romanian.
