A Day in the Life of P3 Events:
You will collaborate with clients and our national team to dream up and deliver events that wow, inspire, and hit client expectations and KPIs. From brainstorming concepts to running the show on event day, you’re the glue that keeps everything running smoothly.
Here’s a sneak peek of your day-to-day:
* Workshop meetings with clients and our national team to craft events that match their goals, vibes, and budgets.
* Weekly staff meetings and brainstorming sessions.
* Owning the entire event management process from concept to completion—proposals, pricing, execution, and post-event reporting!
* Coordinating suppliers, meeting deadlines, and keeping the budget on track.
* Working on multiple events in multiple states whilst building up our culture.
* Completing contracts, reporting, and attention to every little detail.
Who You’ll Work With:
You’ll be working with a mix of creative geniuses, including our National Operations Manager, Senior/Event Managers, Event Coordinators, Assistants, and contract staff for event day. Teamwork is the name of the game as we work together to deliver successful outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
* Event planning, execution, task management, client and supplier relations, administrative execution of events, scheduling
* Development and management of event budgets – plan to the budget
* Prepare client proposals (PowerPoint)
* Consult with clients to ascertain requirements
* Setting and developing schedules
* Managing logistics and production coordination
* Site management, including site inspections, event area selection, in-depth analysis of site requirements
* Support the national team as required, including casual event staff, to achieve company goals. This may include fielding questions, assisting in direction, delegating and training.
Skills:
* Project management, timelines, and task management
* Facilities coordination, audio-visual, lighting, event layouts and design
* Production, staging, and on-site execution
* Problem-solving through stressful situations
* Vendor sourcing and coordination
* Contracting, negotiations and compliance
* Risk assessment and coordination (emergency planning)
* Event budgeting and financials
* Evaluations, reporting and analysis
* Leadership and strong interpersonal skills
* Superior written and oral communication skills
* Working knowledge of Microsoft software including Excel, Word and SharePoint
* A clue about Canva and cloud-sharing programs
* Understanding of social media and marketing opportunities for our clients and our business in event settings
* Ability to work autonomously, but also experience in delegation
Time Commitment:
Some interstate travel may be required and will be compensated. Long days and some weekends are expected.
Terms:
This is a salaried role with leave entitlements congruent with National Employment Standards governed by the Fair Work Ombudsman. Termination of employment can be affected by either party with a notice period of two weeks or pay instead of notice by the Employer.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years of office environment experience
* Tertiary qualifications are highly regarded
* Company-specific training will be provided, as well as opportunities for further formal qualifications and attendance at conferences and industry events.
