Responsibilities:
Strategic:
1. New and further development of automated processes for quality and risk assurance (camera systems, dimensional and functional checks, etc.) as well as for parts and goods carrier labeling (Track&Trace), taking into account economic requirements
2. Maintenance of the automation standard and its further development for new and existing business together with the team leader
Operational:
3. Industrialization of prototype processes and transfer to series production
4. Development/design of automated production cells and processes (e.g. 100% parts inspection) and creation of specifications for production systems
5. Continuous improvement: Identification, analysis and optimization of process and technology weaknesses in the area of automation & process development
Projects and partnerships:
6. Team member in the APQP process (customer projects) as well as project management of interdisciplinary teams in the areas of automation, process development and control
7. Support in the objective "digital factory" / "Industry 4.0" by providing the necessary data of the manufacturing equipment
Qualifications:
8. Education & professional experience: You have a degree in engineering with a focus on mechanical engineering, mechatronics or plastics technology and several years of professional experience in automation technology, preferably in the plastics processing industry.
9. Skills: Experience in working with CAD/CAM software and basic knowledge of network technology & programming are required. Excellent German and English language skills, conceptual strength and project management experience characterize you.
10. Nice to have: Experience with the quality standards of the automotive and automotive supplier industry and methodological competence (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, ...).
