In this role you are the Lead Cost Analyst responsible for Jenbacher Factory Operations, based at the INNIO Headquarters in Jenbach, Austria. Jenbach is the largest site and lead factory of the INNIO group, producing gas engines and spare parts. You own the controlling, cost calculations, and financial processes for all costs relating to the Jenbach factory.
These activities make a significant contribution to the success of the Operations Finance team, and the wider business.
This role is filled in Jenbach in Tyrol, Austria.

Your Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the Jenbacher Operations leadership team, up to VP level, to drive and improve the planning, forecasting, and reporting of all elements of cost.
* A key area of focus are the shop floor related variable costs, including productive hours, overall costs per hour, overhead allocations, and productivity metrics. Scope of work covers planning and forecasting, the setting of standard costs, through to regular analysis and explanations of variances.
* Active and key involvement in the annual standard cost setting process, with specific responsibility for calculating labour and related overhead rates across the various cost centers within the Jenbach factory.
* Conduct ad-hoc in-depth analyses on special topics in areas such as resource or energy costs, impacted due to changing market conditions.
* Also in scope is the planning of fixed costs relating to the Jenbacher Operations and Sourcing teams. This includes detailed headcount planning, resource costs and other related general and administration costs, plus reviews and signoffs up to INNIO VP level.
* Calculate and book periodic financial adjustments. Examples include various cost accruals relating to the factory, such as utilities and temporary labour. Also, critical year-end entries such as the labour cost in inventory revaluation. Ensure a high degree of accuracy.
* Issue and present regular reports to the wider Operations team, giving clarity on progress of cost and productivity versus plan. Where needed adding insightful commentary on operational drivers of any variances.
* Initiate and implement meaningful improvements to processes, reporting, and forecasting. Leverage operational expertise and business intelligence tools to achieve these results.
Your Profile:
* Bachelor/Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration
* At least 5 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role
* Strong understanding of accounting concepts
* Excellent Excel skills, experienced with large sets of data. Business Intelligence skills advantageous.
* Oracle/other ERP experience
* Fluent English, German advantageous
* Flexible and works well with deadlines
* Proactive learner
* Clear thinker, problem solving attitude
* A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)
