Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer based in KUNDL, TIROL you will perform activities required for the installation, commissioning, start-up and technical support of Emerson systems at customer sites. You will be responsible also for performing work according to the Emerson standards of safety and quality.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Perform Control system maintenance tasks and performance evaluations.
* Provide technical support to customers and solve problems related to the process system.
* Perform system acceptance tests, installation, commissioning, training, fault analysis and rectification work at customer sites and installations.
* Assist in design studies, hardware and software upgrades and modifications.
* Execute all work (repairs, installations, training etc.) in accordance with guidelines and certifications to meet customer deadlines and expectations.
* Be able and willing to perform emergency call-out services to provide fast and efficient services to customers.
* Communicate issues concerning customer satisfaction or requests for Emerson support to the responsible person in Service Management or Sales Management.
* Grow the Systems Service business, especially service contracts, Guardian and DeltaV Add-on packages.
* Assist in projects, system setup and software changes.

For this Role, You Will Need:
* Technical college level degree and relevant experience from process industries such as Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Oil & Gas, or Refineries.
* Good communication skills and proficiency in English – written and spoken.
* Availability to work non-office hours and perform call-out services, if applicable.
* Open to working offshore, if necessary.
* Driving license for car.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
* Product knowledge will be considered a plus.
* Degree or equivalent experience in engineering (mechanical, electrical, computer science, or control systems).

We offer an attractive compensation package that matches your qualifications and professional experience. The gross annual salary is based on the metal trade collective agreement (usage group IV). Depending on training and experience, overpayment is possible.
