The Infrastructure Facilitation Manager role will manage the review, coordination and progression of private sector infrastructure inquiries, initiatives and proposals supporting the Housing Roadmap and other affiliated Government policies.
A sound level of understanding of property planning, infrastructure and utilities requirements underpins the successful execution of this role. The incumbent will work at a senior level across both the private and public sectors to identify, plan and deliver efficient and effective infrastructure to promote positive financial and economic infrastructure outcomes for the State.
You will lead the liaison between ISA and private and public sector organisations on collaborative infrastructure planning and development options and solutions and identify infrastructure areas where a collaborative approach to implementation will be beneficial.
The role will require you to manage consultants engaged to identify optimal solutions and pathways for infrastructure needs and remove barriers to efficient development and manage and facilitate negotiations across key stakeholders and parties to implement agreed infrastructure outcomes in different sectors.
You will prepare high level briefings and reports that contain insights and recommendations for consideration by the SA Government, ISA Board and other key decision makers and communicate with SA Government, Federal Government and external service providers and experts on ISA's infrastructure coordination priorities and approach.
About You
* Excellent knowledge and experience of major infrastructure policy, planning and delivery requirements.
* Well-developed understanding of the property development industry and infrastructure linkages.
* Highly developed ability to analyse business cases and infrastructure proposals for various economic, social and environmental outcomes variety of sectors.
* Extensive demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders, including all levels of government, industry bodies and the community.
* Senior experience in facilitating agreed outcomes across competing interests and different stakeholders. Strong organisational skill to manage multiple, concurrent matters within deadlines.
* High level verbal and written communication skills, especially engagement, coordination and report writing.
* Sound experience in working in a politically sensitive and confidential environment and in liaising with senior executives towards agreed outcomes.
Special Conditions
* The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
* The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
* Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
* Some interstate travel involving overnight absences will be required.
* This role requires a National Criminal History check.
