Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in sales within the automotive sector, specifically with Auto OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in India. This role requires extensive knowledge of thermal management and fuel system components.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business goals and expand market presence within the Auto OEM and Tier 1 segment in India.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking opportunities to secure new accounts.
Understand customer needs and requirements, and propose suitable solutions based on our product offerings.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and operations to ensure alignment on customer requirements and project timelines.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports and monitor performance metrics on a regular basis.
Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify business opportunities and risks.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry with a focus on Auto OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
Strong technical knowledge of thermal management and fuel system components.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel frequently within India and occasionally internationally.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Indian automotive OEMs like Tata Motors, Mahindra, etc., and Tier 1 suppliers in the field of fluid management components.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and identify new business opportunities.
Fluency in multiple Indian languages is a plus.
