HR Manager (m/w/d) HARPS Europe is part of HARPS Global, a fast growing global manufacturer and end to end distributor of medical and industrial gloves. The production plant in Wimpassing has more than 100 years of experience in the manufacture of gloves and specializes in the production of surgical gloves. The corporation employs over 5000 employees across 17 countries, predominantly in Asia and Europe. We are looking for an experienced HR Manager (m/w/d) located in Vienna. The role You are the responsible HR Manager issuing at the European Headquarters with approx. 50 employees, located in Austria, Hungary, UK, Germany, France and Poland. Reporting to Global HRBP, you have line manager responsibility for 2 HR Managers at the production sites of Wimpassing and Sopron (Hungary), act as HRBP for Europe commercial, support employees and provide global HR project support. Following HARPS Global''s acquisition, the HR Manager will support organizational integration, collaborating with senior leaders across Europe to advance HR functions and lead global HR projects. Responsibilities The HR Manager Europe will be instrumental in delivering comprehensive HR management and support to European management and employees. Key responsibilities include: * Oversee HR Managers in Wimpassing and Sopron, acting as escalation point for complex organizational changes or employee relations. * Develop and manage global HR projects in collaboration with the Global HR Business Partner in Singapore. * Serve as primary HR contact for +/ 50 European White Collar employees across six countries. * Partner with European senior managers to deliver comprehensive HR support. * Manage payroll preparation, time recording, and employee data in Austria, management of company cars. * Provide expertise on European labor law, maintain compliance, and lead Austrian employer relations, including works council management. * Ensure clear communication of HR policies and updates. * Oversee employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, role changes, and terminations. * Implement annual HR processes like performance management and salary reviews. * Adapt HR tools to meet legal and organizational requirements. * Improve HR practices and establish consistent standards. * Participate in audits and provide occasional backup for HR Managers in Wimpassing and Sopron. Requirements * Finished studies in HR Management or Business Administration (with HR focus); alternatively, a vocational HR qualification (e.g., HR Specialist). * At least 2 3 years solid experience as an HR Manager or a minimum of 5 years in a similar international HR position (HR Generalist/HR Business Partner), preferably leadership experienced. * Perfect in German and Eng
