Description
The Field Service Engineer (CSE) is primarily responsible for customer service activities that are associated with updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing highly sophisticated capital equipment at customer sites. The Customer Service Engineer represents the company to the customer and assumes accountability for customer satisfaction with service. The CSE assures the operational quality of the system equipment and coordinates actions with customers to minimize down-time and may provide assistance to Installation Engineers in resolving problems.
** Position is based in Villach/Austria **
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for customer service activities associated with updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing of highly complex capital equipment at customer sites.
2. Represents the company to the customer and assumes accountability for customer satisfaction with service.
3. Assures operational quality of system equipment.
4. Coordinates actions with customers to minimize down time.
5. May provide assistance to Installation Engineers in resolving problems.
6. Domestic and international travel may be required.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
7. Certified engineer or degree from advanced technical school or work experience of ~3 years.
8. Ability to understand and solve problems in software, electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical and/or electro-optical systems to address on site customer problems.
9. Excellent interpersonal communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
10. Great customer relations and collaboration skills within a multi-cultural environment.
11. Fluent in English and German language is a must.
12. Full driver’s license.
