TheImpact You''ll Make Join Lam as a Manufacturing Engineer whereyou''ll play a crucial role in supporting the new product pilotproduction factory, virtual manufacturing, or high volumemanufacturing production factory. Using your knowledge oftechnology and engineering principles you will oversee theplanning, development, and maintenance of manufacturing methods,processes, and operations. You''ll tackle technical, quality, andproduction challenges. Your expertise optimizing manufacturingcosts and standards helps shape Lam''s commitment to innovation andefficiency in manufacturing. In this role, you will directlycontribute to panel equipment production. What You''ll Do Troubleshoot new or existing product problems, involving designs,materials, or processes. Designs, develops, and implements safeand cost effective complex equipment and methods of assembly forall phases of manufacturing. Define process and methods for highvolume manufacturing which includes operations method sheet,routing, and sequencing. Perform virtual build and createsequence of assembly. Perform root cause investigation andrecommend corrective action for operational problems, such asmaterial use variances, bottlenecks, fixture issues during build ormanufacturing process. Identify opportunities to improvemanufacturing processes or resolve problems and follow throughresolution to reduce costs, improve product quality, and cycletime. Reviews and develops designs that improve productmanufacturability and assembly. Coordinate new product builds inpilot production manufacturing partnering closely withmanufacturing and product engineers. Create and releaseengineering drawings & bill of materials (BOM) usingEngineering Change Management process. Development of handoffpackage to allow product transition to high volume manufacturing.Who We''re Looking For Bachelor''s degree in MechanicalEngineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, orrelated field with 8+ years of experience; or Master''s degree with6+ years'' experience; or equivalent experience. Skilledtroubleshooting capabilities in the areas of electro/mechanicalassemblies. Solid understanding of manufacturing processes. Proficient in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) withapproach to structured problem solving and decision making. Proficient in software applications such as CAD modeling, ProductLifecycle Management (PLM), or Product Data Modeling (PDM) systems. Experience in Engineering Change Management Process. Workingknowledge in Operation Method Sheets (OMS), process planning, andBill of Materials (BOM) Management. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Semiconductor equipmen
