Job Description
Our client is a world-leading partner for engineering, plant construction and lifecycle services in the metals industry. Their comprehensive technology, product and service portfolio includes holistic solutions for electronics, automation and environmental technology, covering all stages of the value chain from raw materials to finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Project Manager on technical matters throughout the project execution.
* Assist in elaborating and updating the project schedule, including project progress reporting.
* Define work packages and distribute them to respective executing departments, considering deadlines, contractual requirements, missing information or open points, as well as quality management.
* Coordinate project interfaces with executing engineering departments and involved parties regarding time schedules, adherence to deadlines, and ensuring technical completeness.
* Participate in engineering review and customer approval meetings, focusing on interfaces, transport possibilities, installation and maintenance accessibility, media & electrical interfaces, technical completeness, and formal execution adherence.
* Organize and prepare submission of engineering results (e.g., drawing documents) and project documentation (e.g., operation manual, maintenance manual) to the customer.
* Support equipment installation and commissioning tasks on site.
* Ensure relevant information is filed during project closure and available for future projects.
Requirements:
* Secondary school with a technical or engineering focus.
* 3+ years of professional experience in adequate technical functions (e.g., technology, engineering, installation).
* Advanced knowledge of engineering and business unit-related technology to understand technical implications.
* Basic knowledge in project management methods and tools, contract law, and regulations for project business, technical understanding of segment portfolio.
* Work experience in international teams.
* Willingness for international travels and site delegations.
* Advanced knowledge in English and German.
Compensation
The annual gross salary according to the collective agreement is at least €52,197.04. Depending on education, qualifications, and experience, significant overpayment is possible.
