Job Description
Are you ready to take on a dynamic role in IT procurement? We’re looking for a Procurement Specialist to manage IT hardware and software requests, build and maintain supplier relationships and drive cost-effective purchasing strategies. Reporting to the Procurement Operations Manager you will be part of a dynamic team and work closely with our Corporate Systems Team, IT help and offices around the world.
THE CHALLENGE:
1. Manage daily IT hardware and software requests and issue Purchase Orders as needed
2. Work with multiple email aliases/ticket systems answering a high volume of messages and requests from around the world
3. Discover suppliers, initiate business partnerships and maintain these relationships
4. Negotiate with external vendors
5. Support the preparation/negotiation of contracts and tender management
6. Process the ordering of necessary goods and services
7. Continuously monitor and improve the quality of service provided
8. Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
9. Support the examination of existing contracts
10. Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders/teams
11. Keep up to date with trends and innovations
12. Track costs to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
13. Support ad-hoc reporting needs
14. Perform other related duties as assigned
YOUR PROFILE:
1. Undergraduate in Business, Accounting or Finance is required
2. Proven working experience in IT environments
3. Previous experience in a similar role in procurement is required
4. First experience in preparing and negotiating contracts
5. Good Knowledge and interest of the IT market players/suppliers/internet lines
6. Interest in negotiations and networking
7. Strong stakeholder management working across international locations
8. Strong attention to detail
9. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, any other system such as Service Now, JIRA or confluence is desirable.
10. Fluent in English (written and spoken), any other European language will be considered as a plus.
The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
