Dealership Assistant Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager
Patterson Cheney Toyota achieved the Toyota Australia Presidents Award for 2022 and 2023, positioning us for continued success. We are now seeking an Assistant Pre-Owned Sales Manager to support our team.
This role will see you assisting the Sales Manager in overseeing used vehicle sales operations, ensuring smooth processes and contributing to dealership success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Sales Manager in motivating the used vehicle sales team to meet sales targets and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
* Contribute to the sales process by engaging with customers, facilitating test drives and vehicle presentations.
* Maintain an attractive showroom/yard, ensuring vehicles are clean, well-presented and properly merchandised.
* Analyse competitor offerings to stay informed about industry trends and pricing strategies.
* Assist with inventory management, including ordering vehicles, coordinating trade-ins and maintaining a diverse selection of used cars.
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
* Monitor and analyse sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
* Maintain accurate records and reports related to sales activities, customer interactions and vehicle inventory.
* Stay updated on product knowledge, industry developments and dealership promotions to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
* Perform administrative and operational tasks as assigned by the Sales Manager.
Requirements:
* Desirable: Previous experience in automotive used vehicle sales leadership.
* Experience in valuing and buying with a strong understanding of the market.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and team members.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for accuracy in sales documentation and inventory management.
* A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and commitment to customer satisfaction.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
* Familiarity with the automotive industry and used vehicle market trends is advantageous.
* Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite and other sales tools.
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
