Head of Technology - Cloud and Enterprise Services

As a senior leader, you will drive innovation, streamline operations, and lead a high-performing team to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions at speed.
What You’ll Do
Reporting to the General Manager, Technology SADECO, you will lead the Cloud, Networks, and Enterprise Platforms teams, ensuring seamless 24/7 operations while enabling business agility. Your key responsibilities include:
* Shape the Future – Lead innovation and global technology improvements to enhance performance, scalability, and quality.
* Uplift Capability – Build and scale a Cloud Centre of Excellence, fostering a culture of learning and driving cloud expertise across both business and technology teams.
* Drive Cloud Excellence – Execute a Cloud Adoption & Migration strategy, including a data centre exit plan, maximizing ROI and aligning with the company’s future-state cloud ecosystem.
* Simplify & Optimise Networks – Develop and implement a strategy to streamline corporate networks and ensure seamless cloud integration.
* Lead a High-Impact Team – Manage a team of 50+ engineers, guiding them through complex enterprise environments with a focus on automation, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
* Implement Best Practices – Establish cloud governance frameworks, infrastructure-as-code, automation, and guardrails to enhance security, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
What You’ll Bring
* 10+ years’ experience leading large-scale IT engineering teams in complex enterprise environments.
* Expertise in Cloud & Networks – Proven ability to design, deploy, and manage large AWS environments and corporate network infrastructures.
* Hands-on Leadership – Strong track record in engineering, mentoring, and driving high-performing technical teams.
* Deep Technical Skills – Advanced knowledge of networking, virtualization, databases, storage, and platform services.
* DevOps & Automation – Experience with IaC (Infrastructure-as-Code), configuration management tools, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and agile ways of working.
* Industry Knowledge (Nice to Have) – Understanding of gambling & entertainment industries and relevant regulatory frameworks.
