The Perkins is seeking two highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented Executive Assistants (EAs) to support Executive team members. These positions are offered on a part time basis (0.8 FTE) with flexibility on how those hours can be worked. This position will be located at our state-of-the-art medical research facilities in Nedlands.
About this role
With two EA roles available, one will support our Deputy Director (and Research Leadership), and the other will be responsible for supporting our Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). These positions are pivotal in:
* Facilitating efficient time and workload management, including the use of productivity / project management tools.
* Coordinating key meetings / events and associated outcomes.
* Managing travel and accommodation requirements.
* Monitoring & managing communication channels on behalf of Executives.
* Preparing, collating and reviewing materials & reports for Board and Committee meetings.
* Ensuring the smooth flow of daily operations, all while fostering a collaborative environment across departments.
This role would suit candidates with experience in a similar capacity supporting Executive-level roles.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
* Certificate IV in Business Administration (or similar) or equivalent knowledge gained through a combination of education, training and/or experience.
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with a range of stakeholders.
* Well-developed administration, organisational and planning skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with a high level of attention to detail.
* Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively in a team environment with a flexible approach to duties and independently when required.
* Ability to solve problems under pressure while remaining calm.
* Strong ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
* Proficient in a range of computing skills and platforms; in particular, Microsoft 365.
* Possess a current Western Australian ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.
